The formula
Tex = 590.5 / Ne = 1000 / Nm = Denier / 9. All four systems express linear density; Tex is grams per 1000 m.
Worked example
Count value: 30, From: Ne (English). Result: Ne = 30; Nm = 50.8; Tex = 19.68; Denier = 177.2.
