The formula
Water (L) = fabric (kg) x liquor ratio. A 1:8 ratio needs 8 liters per kg.
Worked example
Fabric weight: 300 kg, Liquor ratio (1 :): 8. Result: Water volume = 2,400 L; Water volume = 2.4 m3.
