The formula
Lead time = max(fabric, trims) + cutting + sewing + finishing + inspection + buffer.
Worked example
Fabric in-house: 30 days, Trims in-house: 20 days, Cutting: 3 days, Sewing: 12 days, Finishing & packing: 5 days, Final inspection: 2 days, Buffer: 5 days. Result: Lead time = 57 days; Material critical path = 30 days.

- Fabric and trims procured in parallel; production stages sequential.
